Coalfield Writers is a Satellite of Marshall University Writing Project.  We service teachers in Logan and Mingo Counties.  Logan County Schools has financially supported two student writing programs for the current fiscal year.  One is a summer camp for middle school students, and the other is a fall writing program for students in grades 4, 5 and 6.  This blog contains student work.  All work is first draft unless otherwise noted.  All work should be considered fiction, unless noted.
